Territory
The Alta Val di Non is the largest valley in Trentino, is located in the heart of the Western Province of Trento and is famous throughout Europe for its great opportunity to live a beautiful holiday Water, food, nature and culture are the key words of the Alta Val di Non.
Water characterizes all our territory. Its waters plunge the many brooks and streams that run through the Val di Non and the millennia have dug the earth to form that collection of canyons, gorges, waterfalls through which is also known today as "Valley of the Canyon". Another gem of the Val di Non is the famous Lake Tovel one of the most romantic stretches of water in Trentino, in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
Unspoilt nature is another keyword. Here there are green meadows and pastures that soon turn into scenic mountain ranges. The rocky Brenta Dolomites in the south-west part of the Dolomites heritage site and inside the brown bear lives protected.
Last but not least Culture. There are two gems that crown the tourist offer. The ancient sanctuary of San Romedio, one of the most characteristic hermitages in Europe, and the imposing Castel Thun, located right at the entrance of the Val di Non. A valley to be discovered!
